The Client

The Stixx is a popular dining and social venue in Chester, known for its alfresco bar and braai set beneath the railway arches beside Chester Racecourse.

Inspired by Southern African food, culture and the spirit of Ubuntu – community, warmth and togetherness – it has become a well-established part of the local leisure scene.

Alongside its sister venues, The Stixx group operates busy hospitality spaces with high footfall, late trading hours and varied layouts.

The Challenge

Hospitality environments bring constant movement, long opening hours and increased safety pressures.

The Stixx group needed a security partner who understood:

Our Solution

We delivered a fully integrated fire and security package across The Stixx and The Suburbs, tailored to each venue.

This included fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV coverage and fully compliant fire extinguishers – all designed around hospitality operations and installed with minimal disruption.

CCTV was positioned to support staff safety and oversight across entrances, bars, dining areas and external spaces, while intruder alarms protected each venue outside trading hours. Fire safety systems were designed to meet hospitality requirements and support clear evacuation if needed.

Our engineers worked closely with venue teams to ensure every installation respected customer flow, layout and day-to-day operations.
