As we wrap up 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on everything we have achieved together with your support. And what a year it's been! In this blog post, we reflect on what's been a whirlwind of activities, partnerships, achievements and some incredible milestones that we could not have reached without our amazing customers.

National Cyber Security Event in Birmingham

We kicked off a fantastic year by attendeding the National Cyber Security Show at the NEC in Birmingham in spring. The exhibition showcases the world’s leading security brands, offering the best opportunities to source the latest products, technologies and solutions, whilst networking and meeting face-to-face with key experts from across the industry. We have come away with new ideas and the most current security solutions to offer to our new and existing clients. It is always great to reunite with fellow installers, integrators, manufacturers, distributors and end users.

Award Winning Excellence

In May we were so pleased to have won the Award for Business Services B2B at the North West Family Business Awards.

This incredible achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional security solutions and building trusted partnerships with businesses across the region. As a proud family-run company, we’re honored to be recognized for our dedication, innovation, and client-focused approach. A huge thank you to our amazing team and valued customers for making this possible.

A Decade of Making a Difference

We were proud to mark 10 incredible years of supporting the Hope House Ty Gobaith Charity Shoot, a truly inspiring event that has raised over £700,000 for children and families in need.

As passionate advocates for giving back to the community, we were honored to play a role in this event again in 2024. Together with our partners and participants, we’ve helped create a brighter future for those who rely on the vital care and support that Hope House provides.

Here’s to many more years of collaboration, compassion, and making a lasting impact.

Norbain Festival 2024

We had an incredible time at the Norbain Festival 2024 a vibrant afternoon filled with food, fizz, familiar faces, and cutting-edge innovation. From reconnecting with industry leaders to exploring the latest advancements in security technology, it was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our expertise and share ideas for a safer future.

Events like these remind us of the importance of collaboration in staying ahead in the world of crime prevention. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat - we loved catching up.

New Towers for Winworth Construction

In October, we loaded our trailer and headed to London to support our client Winworth Construction with their latest 18-month project. This consisted of two brand new security towers designed to provide state-of-the-art protection for large-scale construction sites.

Our cutting-edge towers ensure 24/7 security, safeguarding valuable equipment, materials, and the site itself. As industry leaders in construction security, we were thrilled to play a crucial role in this long-term project for our valued customer.

CPS Goes Seasonal!

Although crime and security is our passion, we do like to let our hair down once in a while, strengthening team relationships and enjoying fun activities in our local area. Our team had a great time replacing the office for a pumpkin patch this October!

Fostering safer, stronger communities

We were proud to support our Managing Director, Karen Farrell, in her esteemed role as High Sheriff of Clwyd. Karen’s dedication to making a difference in our community reflects the values we uphold as a company.

This November, we are honored to stand by her at her prestigious black-tie event - an evening which broughttogether key voices from across the region, celebrating community spirit while raising awareness for vital causes.

It was great to get into the charity spirit and don our pyjamas and dressing gowns to support Children in Need Day 2025!

Of course, no year would be complete without the iconic CPS Christmas tree which stands tall and proud for all to see (even from the A55).

At Crime Prevention Services, we’re proud to join in the festive fun this Christmas Jumper Day while supporting our valued client, Lidl. Our team is embracing the holiday spirit, donning our brightest, craziest jumpers to spread joy and raise awareness for important causes.
