Trainee Fire & Security Engineer - Flintshire

Are you a recent college leaver looking to gain your first practical experience within the security industry?
Due to further expansion and career progression, we are currently recruiting for an additional trainee engineer to join our installation team. You will be working alongside an experienced senior engineer and assisting them with the installation and maintenance of CCTV, intruder, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems.
Extensive internal and external training will be provided, inclusive of comprehensive health & safety training, electronic security and fire alarms.

Ideally the successful candidate will:
- Have a college qualification in an electrical or engineering related discipline.
- Have evidence of an interest in an electrical or engineering related career (such as work experience, work placement or a relevant hobby).
- Be willing to work inside or outside in a variety of locations and weather conditions. Our clients range from domestic properties to manufacturing environments.
- The role involves working at height. Training will be provided but the individual should be comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, working platforms etc.
- Live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Northop and possess a full driving licence.
Our engineers will often be required to work away from home. Therefore, a flexible approach to working hours and location is required.
On-site working hours:
40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
Outside of the above, there will also be a variable amount of time spent travelling to / from site as we cover almost nationwide.
Salary:
- National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage
- Paid overtime & travel time

Pay: £17,888.00-£23,795.20 per year
